Bottleworks is a co-working space that has won several awards including an Irish Construction Excellence Award 2022, Building & Architect of the Year Award 2022, RIAI Workplace & Fit-Out Award 2022, and an RIAI Public Choice Award.

The development involved the demolition of an existing warehouse on the site at Barrow Street, Dublin 4, and the construction of a hi-tech enterprise and innovation hub, set in a co-working environment of 3,500 m² work space. The 3-storey (over double-basement) industrial-style building has capacity for approx. 250 no. workers, with shared work areas, meeting rooms, and break-out spaces provided.

The upper levels of the building are 250thk post tensioned flat slabs to maximise the floor to soffit height and control deflections at the façade while achieving efficiencies in rebar quantities. Columns are insitu RC and walls are typically insitu or blockwork where close proximity to neighbouring structures did not allow for the insitu concrete pours. The lower levels are formed in insitu RC for the walls, columns, retaining walls and suspended slabs. The foundation slab is insitu RC with ground anchors to resist hydrostatic water pressure.
