CS Consulting was engaged by Bartra to provide a full suite of services on this development which comprised the construction of a 6-storey social housing apartment block consisting of 39 no. “A-rated” units for Dublin City Council on a site situated on Poplar Row in Fairview, Dublin 3. The Poole House development also involved the provision of a communal facility/meeting room, bicycle parking facilities, a secure bin storage facility, 2 no. communal open spaces, including a children's play space, and associated site development works.

Prior to the construction works commencing, an existing 2-storey commercial building on the site was demolished, in addition to site clearance and enabling works being carried out. The infill nature of the brownfield development posed numerous challenges including retention and interaction with existing neighbouring properties, construction logistics, and minimal site egress points for utility and service connections, all of which were managed by our experienced and knowledgeable team.
