Refurbishment of the décor and furnishings within the hotel’s public areas including the lobby, conference and wedding facilities. The hotel remained open throughout the refurbishment with the most significant work being undertaken during the off-season to avoid disruption to guests.

An extensive work programme, meanwhile, is also under way on the hotel’s golf course that will see major improvements to the bunkers, greens and rough to improve the standard and playability of the course. The changes also included the creation of a dedicated car park for members and guests of the golf course and the opening of a new golf shop.
